Thanksgiving CornDecember 18, 2021 in Dinner / Gluten-Free / Posts / Side Dishes / Simple Fare / Vegetables by Shari Thanksgiving Corn December 18, 2021 by Shari Category Dinner Gluten-Free Posts Side Dishes Simple Fare Vegetables Ingredients 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped 2 Tablespoons butter 1/2 teaspoon salt dash of pepper 1 cup milk 2 Tablespoons cornstarch 2 cups frozen corn Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8 inch square baking pan or 2 quart casserole dish. Sauté onion in butter until the onions are translucent. Add salt and pepper. Mix the cornstarch with the milk until smooth. Pour over the sautéed onion. Stirring constantly, bring the mixture to a boil and cook until it thickens. Add corn. Pour into a baking pan and bake in preheated oven for 1/2 hour.
