Baked Corn

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 cups corn

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8 inch square baking pan.
  2. Saute onion in butter.
  3. Add salt and pepper.
  4. Mix cornstarch with milk and pour over sauteed onion. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. 
  5. Add corn.
  6. Pour into baking pan and bake 1/2 hour.
