May is a time of transition here in Minnesota. I don’t know if I would call it a beautiful month since all the leaves and vegetation have yet to grow enough to cover all the mud and litter exposed by the melting snow, but it is a time of promise and that holds a certain beauty in itself.

New Patterns
February 7 marked Laura Ingalls Wilder’s 150th birthday and to commemorate my childhood hero I started a special The Long Winter Project. This project includes two brand new and three popular patterns inspired by Laura Ingalls book, The Long Winter. We have spent the last month revising, resizing, and photographing all these patterns as we bring this project together. Thank you for letting us know that Hearts for Hearts dolls will have separate patterns. Sometimes it isn’t always clear if they share the pattern with Wellies or not on Pixie Faire. I just recently got my Hearts for Hearts dolls and am still trying to figure out what to make.

I enjoyed the video on you tube about making button using freeze for placement of the button holes. I will be trying this the next time I make button holes. Thank you for the video.

I love, love, love your patterns! I am preparing to sew my first outfit from one of your patterns, but I am so impressed especially by your attention to detail in creating the Little House on the Prairie dresses.
