Pattern #KDD-10Ā Forties Fashion
Designed to fit American GirlĀ® and other similarly sized dolls.
Keepers is please to offer a pattern for two very popular 1940’s designs. With classic forties styling these frocks have fully gathered skirts that dip at the front waistline. Side ties form a little bow at the back and allow for some adjustment to accommodate the different size waists the AG dolls can have.
View A offers a split rounded neckline surrounded with bias trim and front center bow. The sleeves are gathered at the shoulder line and have split cuff trimmed with bias and bedecked with a bow as well. The back fastens with buttons.
View B has a pretty sweetheart neckline, puffy sleeves with sleeve bands and a plastron front (bib) that is anchored to the bodice with mini buttons. The possibilities are almost endless as the plastron can be made from contrasting fabric and can be trimmed with piping, rick rack or lace for many different looks.
