- 2 cups brown rice
- 1/2 Tablespoon butter
- 3 - 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Rinse and drain the rice.
- Coat the bottom and the sides of the crock pot with butter, leaving any extra in the bottom of the pot.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the crock pot.
- Cook on high for 2 hours. Turn off the crock pot and let sit with the lid on for another 30 minutes.
- Fluff the rice and serve or use as desired.
