Crock Pot Brown Rice

Yield: 5 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 cups brown rice
  • 1/2 Tablespoon butter
  • 3 - 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse and drain the rice. 
  2. Coat the bottom and the sides of the crock pot with butter, leaving any extra in the bottom of the pot. 
  3. Add the remaining ingredients to the crock pot. 
  4. Cook on high for 2 hours.  Turn off the crock pot and let sit with the lid on for another 30 minutes. 
  5. Fluff the rice and serve or use as desired.
